Children are a special blessing from Heaven above.
God sends them to us that we may care for, teach and love.
To hear them play and hear their joyful screams.
And listen to and help them sort out their dreams.

A gift from God to dedicate to the Lord.
With them we form a family and come before God in one accord.
So tender, innocent, so trusting and so pure.
And ready, keen to learn and please us for sure.
