It is Resurrection Day Again!

He came to save us, to take away our sins and our transgressions, to take away our sicknesses, infirmities and our diseases.
To bless us in every area of our lives. To gives us our peace of mind. To set us all free. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36.
Jesus did all these for us by going to the cross, dying, being buried, descending to hell, resurrecting on the third day and finally
ascending back to God the Father. Let us rejoice for all He has done for all of us, Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

It is Resurrection Day Again!

There was a time when Jesus enquired of His disciples who people thought He was.
The disciples came up with all sorts of answers such as some of the people believed
that Jesus was John the Baptist. Others, they reported, thought that He (Jesus) was Elijah or Jeremiah
or one of the prophets. Jesus then turned to His disciples and asked them,"...But what about you?"
He said to them;"But who do you say that I am?" Matthew 16:15
If today, Jesus were to ask you the same question that He put to His disciples about
two thousand years ago, what would you say, what would your answer be?
Simon Peter, one of Jesus' apostles replied;
'Simon Peter answered and said;
"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." ' Matthew 16:16
Jesus remarked after Simon Peter's response that Simon Peter was blessed
because God, the Father had revealed that answer to him.
A look at another one of Jesus' apostles Thomas. After the crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, all the apostles with the exception of Thomas and of course Judas Iscariot were gathered in their "Quarters" when Lord Jesus Christ appeared to them to let them know that God had raised Him up from the dead and that He is alive. The disciples later on told Thomas about the appearance of the Lord Jesus Christ in their midst earlier that day. Thomas did not believe them and said unless he saw Jesus for himself and touched His wounds he Thomas would never believe them.
Jesus made another appearance to His disciples and this time, Thomas was present.
Thomas fell to his knees and exclaimed;
'...And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them.
Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said,"Peace to you!"
Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands;
and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing."
And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" '
John 20:26-28
For this reason Jesus said to Thomas that because he, Thomas, had seen Him and
believed, blessed are those who have not seen Him and yet believe;
'Jesus said to him, "Thomas because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those
who have not seen and yet have believed." ' John 20:29
So, what about you? Who do you believe Jesus Christ is, and what would it take for you
to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God?
